Garfield Elementary is recognizing monthly attendance success of students with the support of amazing community partners headed up by volunteer, Arturo Torres. Each month, this team of dedicated volunteers visits Garfield Elementary during a recess to reward deserving students with a refreshing treat. The grade level with the highest average of perfect attendance also attends this event. During our last event on March 8th, these community partners, and our Local Sun Kings basketball team, celebrated with 194 students with perfect attendance in addition to the entire 5^th grade, which had the highest percentage of perfect attendance students. We are so fortunate to have this valuable support! Special thanks to the following community members who have contributed so far this year:
