Resilient or Brave.
What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?
The advice I would give to the next generation of women to come is. Don’t limit yourself, or downplay what you can do. Believe in yourself, the same way others believe in you. Have that confidence to know that you are capable. Sometimes others see the potential in us and we need to see that in ourselves. You’re going to hear no a lot it’s not No forever. Sometimes it means not right now. Take those No’s and don’t give up use them to fuel your passion.
What makes you happy?
Being able to give my kids the life they deserve and teaching them to be kind and brave individuals.
How do you measure success?
I don’t measure success with money, I measure success with financial freedom. The ability to be debt-free and to live happily. That looks different for everyone. Success comes with challenging yourself and continuously growing.
What historical event inspires you the most?
1. Rosa parks: For her braveness and for being a activist fighting for civil rights.
2. Maya Angelou: Activist, filmmaker writer. I love her poetry and her wisdom. Her poet Phenomenal woman I heard in 9th grade and it inspired me to write my own poems.
What is your favorite quote and why?
“Your current situation is not your final destination.” Sometimes what we are going through is only temporary. It’s not our final outcome.
