Sharon Stark is our Harman Center July 2022 Volunteer of the Month. Sharon has lived in many places around Central Washington. She came to Yakima when she started school in her Nursing Program. She retired from being a nurse for Dr. Roger Rowles after 23 years. She has three children and one step grandchild. She loves playing bridge, reading, travelling, and bunco. She has travelled to many countries and is part of the Philanthropic Education Organization. She described herself as old, quiet, and likes to laugh.

Sharon has been volunteering at the Center for over 16 years. She has served on the Yakima Valley Senior Citizens, Inc. Board for several years. She has volunteered in the kitchen, the coffee bar, and multiple fundraisers. She always works the Strawberry Social every year. Come on down to the Harman Center and have a cup of coffee with Sharon as well as meet some of our other Volunteer All-Stars.
