Barge-Lincoln Elementary families and staff celebrated the Dia De Los Muertos together on November 1st.
Over 300 people participated in the activities. A remembrance alter was displayed in the library all week so the
students could learn about this tradition. Apples were carved to dry, candies in jars estimated, top hats decorated
with paper flowers, skull masks colored, faces painted, Traditional bread was shared and washed down with locally
made apple juice. Much fun was had and much was learned as people shared their diverse experiences of this Mexican tradition.
