Winter Performance

Current and former students of Barge Lincoln Elementary will perform a winter performance on December 13th at 6:30 p.m.

The instruments the students are playing were built and shipped over from the island of Trinidad and Tobago. These drums  have been tuned out of 55 gallon oil drums.  There are several voicings that range from a one drum instrument to a six drum instrument.  Students have been playing anywhere from 2.5 months to several years.  They also have to memorize all of their music. 

We will be playing some traditional island music, some pop songs, and maybe even a couple of holiday favorites.  Hope to see you there!
