Our April 2022 Harman Center Volunteer of the Month is Mary Ellen Dunlop. She is originally from the Washington DC and Arlington, VA area. She moved out here when her dad was transferred out to work for John I. Haas. She has 3 children, 5 step children, and 14 grandchildren. She retired as a Radiologist Technologist. She enjoys photography, nature, walking, jigsaw puzzles, and crossword puzzles. She is happy, energetic, and caring.

Mary Ellen first came to the Harman Center after the COVID shutdown to start volunteering. Her friend Linda Duncan said that they needed help at the Center, so Mary Ellen decided to volunteer her time. She has been volunteering ever since. Her favorite part is interacting with the people. Mary Ellen helps with the YVSC, Inc. Soup & Sandwich on Mondays and Tuesdays, Breakfast on Saturdays, as well as a variety of special events. So come on down to the Harman Center, grab a great meal that will only cost your $5 and meet Mary Ellen as well as a some of our other Volunteer All-Stars.
